Welcome to the Cornwall Moth Group
Cornwall Moth Group is an independent group of moth enthusiasts (lepidopterists) studying and recording both British moths and migrant moths in Cornwall, England.
This web site and all activities we organise are run on a voluntary basis by individuals in their spare time. The group welcomes all levels of expertise, from the beginner to the expert.
The map on theright shows our UK locationwe are divided into two 'Vice Counties' (or VC's), are used in many UK recording schemes. Cornwall is divided into VC1 and VC2. VC1 covering the Isles of Scilly and Lands End, up to roughtly Port Issac. See our recording maps fpr more detail.
